In this 20 minute video Historian Mark Felton discusses Admiral Donitz's change of mind in regards to his Presidency of the German Government during WWII, and why he changed his mind, and sent a letter to the German Chancellor in 1980. In 1981, the West German government was handed a bizarre document. It was called the 'Dönitz Testament' and had been written by Hitler's successor and the last leader of Nazi Germany, Grand Admiral Karl Dönitz, in 1975.
