"The Krupp company was responsible for the manufacture of two of Germany’s most feared war products: the Panzer Tank and the U-boat. Both of these products displayed the amazing strength of German engineering and science. The U-boat was the most advanced submarine ever built, and the Germans needed it. The Panzer tank was far superior to the British Valentine or American Sherman. They both used the great Krupp steel produced at their Essen plant. Winston Churchill said 'The only thing that really frightened me during the war was the U-boat'."
