The venerable JU-52 had a long service life. Using Pratt and Whitney (American) designed engines it performed many duties as a transport, airliner, medivac, and even a bomber. One of the iconic aircraft in aviation history. Serving from the 1920's until the 1980's. Ford's equally as famous Tri-motor copied some design ques from it and he lost in court when sued by Junkers - TWICE!
