Today marks the 50th Anniversary of the fire at the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, MO that destroyed countless Army and Army Air Force/Air Force service files. I posted an article on my website today about the fire. All hope is not lost on locating and telling someone's story. I developed a 2-part strategy over a decade ago to help anyone research any veteran from any war, WWI - Vietnam, even if the service file burned. You can learn more in my article. There is also a link in the article to an AP Article in which I was quoted, which provides a great deal more information about the fire.

  • Jennifer: Think I saw on Linkedin you have a new book out now? Tell us about that. I want to pick up a copy as well as Paul's book on Hitler.

    • Yes I do. Was just getting ready to post about it.
