"Canine Corpuscle Count: Army Specialist 5th Class Thomas Shannon (Birmingham, Alabama) takes a blood count from US Marine sentry dog named Caesar. Holding the muzzled dog is his handler, Marine Sergeant Michael J. Nutt (Spokane, Washington). The dog was undergoing a normal physical at the Marine Corps’ 3d Military Police Battalion veterinarian clinic.
