At the age of 89, Clarence Brockman of McDonald, Pennsylvania reflects on being among the first American soldiers to walk through the gates of the Buchenwald concentration camp in Weimar, Germany, several days after the Nazis abandoned the camp and many of its prisoners. Mr. Brockman would also return to Buchenwald in commemoration of the 65th anniversary of the camp's liberation.
