Our next public open house in April is scheduled not just for one day, but for a whole weekend in celebration of our 75th anniversary and the 2023 Gainey Cup - Best Scout Squad Competition !
For this open house, the Collection and the National Armor and Cavalry Heritage Foundation are excited to showcase a few extra vehicles. First, we will have the storage bays housing the World War II German JagdPanther and Jagdtiger tank destroyers open for viewing. These vehicles (both formerly at the Aberdeen Proving Ground) are awaiting restoration work, but due to popular demand we will be having them on display for this special open house. Second, we will have a modern M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank and M3 Bradley Cavalry Fighting Vehicle from the U.S. Army Armor School's 316th Cavalry Brigade with Soldiers to show off today's armored fighting vehicles.
